Details for the Virtual Poetry Slam

• Open to poets ages 13-19.
• Poets must have two different poems.
• The slam is two rounds. Round one, everyone reads.

Round two will be the highest scoring poets from round one.

• Slam check-in is at 2:30pm

Slam rules:

1. Poems must be 3 mins. or less
2. No swearing (PG-13 language, please)
3. No props or musical accompaniment

Poems will be scored on a scale from 1-10 by five judges.

The highest and lowest scores will be dropped.

The poet's score will be the middle three scores.
